Wrap Up on Photography Class

I mentioned in a previous post that I was taking a photography class. This past week, the class wrapped up with our final projects. This was a small class with just six students and the teacher. Let me say that at least half the class could be professional photographers, so this amateur was way out of her league. However, this was a great opportunity to learn and I feel like I got so much out of this class. The wonderful thing about the final project was that they were all different and all really good. I am inspired to keep working and experimenting with the camera. I had nice compliment when one of the students said that one of the photos in his final project was inspired by my work.

For my final project I chose to photograph flowers. A subject I love and also one that works well with macro photography. So here are a few examples from my final project.

Close up of a Dalia

This has a more traditional feel, probably because it is a simple pink rose.

This is blown up macro photography.  I was going for a watercolor look.

Not sure of the name of this flower, but I liked the water drops.

It was fun!  xoxo
