I haven’t posted to my poor lonely blog is a couple of weeks . . . no one particular excuse. Le Husband is home, so that does have an impact on my schedule. Don’t take that as complaining, because I love having him impact my schedule. We’ve been busy visiting with friends, golfing and going on vacation. We spent a week in North Myrtle Beach golfing and swimming. The ocean was incredibly warm and we stayed at a place right on the beach. I soooo wanted to quit my job and become a beach bum . . . unfortunately I don’t think there’s any money in that profession. Actually I want to be Sandra Brown, that mousy woman on the travel channel who gets to travel the world and show everyone the great restaurants, attractions and hotels to visit. How in the world does one get THAT job!!
We’ve also been looking for a new picnic table. One weekend we had a weather front blow through; and I do mean BLOW through. It picked up our glass top table and umbrella and tossed them over our gas grill and deck railing. Needless to say, it was fun cleaning up the shattered glass. However, we’ve procrastinated just long enough to miss the year-end sales and will now wait until Spring to replace it.
We’re off to a Hockey game tonight thanks to the generosity of the Boss who has fabulous seats. So another night will go by without getting the laundry done . . . but it’s a pretty sweet choice! So that’s a brief update into my exciting life.
